What was the highlight of APA Hotel Tottori Ekimae Minami
No complaint for the stay in the hotel
The room is of reasonable size and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is located a few minutes walk to Tottori train station and is near shops and restaurant. You have to pay for parking in the hotel compound .Breakfast was good with a good selection of food but mostly japanese breakfast. To me is satisfying breakfast.

Large rooms, everything super clean.
The interior was a bit old and had many scratches. The sofa in our room had some stains (probably because it is just old).

Sleeping in an oven.
The location is good. The breakfast is quite decent.
My room on the highest level (Level 14). It is so warm and stuffy, probably because of the roof is being heat up by the sun the whole day. We checked in around 8pm and we’re shocked when we opened the door. We thought we walked into an oven. Until 11pm; when we slept; we were still sweating, only until midnight our room temperature was ok. Perhaps, they should consider switching on the aircond in advance by some other hotels do if they know the room have this problem.

Pleasant
Good location, close to the station. Helpful staff. Changed our room without hesitation.
Bed was small and worn, 12th floor should be non-smoking, but did not smell like it was. Very basic and looks like it has not be renovated for a while. Price was quite high for what we got in comparison to other places we had been to in Japan so far.
